May 12 Day of Mindfulness

Our next Day of Mindfulness (DOM) will be a Quiet Day on Saturday May 12, from 10 AM to 5 PM at a private home in Port Townsend.        Registration Form

Interspersed with sitting and walking meditation, we will listen to talks by Steve Armstrong and Carol Wilson from a Spirit Rock retreat: Awareness and Wisdom.

We look forward to sharing the day with you. An email will be sent to residents with the location and other details.

A Registration Form is found here.

For more information about the day:

Location:  The DOM location will be provided with your registration confirmation.

About the day:   Throughout the day we will observe Noble Silence as a way of facilitating deepening our practice. You are welcome to bring your own meditation items, e.g. cushions, zabuton, shawl, meditation stool, etc. Chairs are available for those who prefer to sit during meditation. We will have lunch together. Please bring something to share, preferably vegetarian, that doesn’t require heating up. Dinnerware and eating utensils, tea and water are provided.

Dana will be collected to support future DOMs. No one will be turned away for not being able to pay.

To facilitate a peaceful day and care for the group energy, we ask that you hold the intention to stay for the entire day. If you know you must leave early, please let the facilitator know beforehand.
