Introduction to Meditation (3rd Wednesday) at 6:00 pm
On the third Wednesday of the month, when requested, an introduction to meditation is offered prior to the evening gathering. If you would like to attend this introduction, or would like more information, contact Jim or Adriane at 379-0136 to let them know of your interest.
We have regular Saturday Sits on the third Saturday of each month (except for the months of our weekend retreats, usually May and October). The inspiration for these day-long retreats is to provide an opportunity to deepen our practice, time and space to engage in longer meditations and dhamma study, and to strengthen the community we share.
The sangha sponsors weekend non-residential retreats two or three times a year. Vipassana teacher Heather Martin lead a retreat in Fall 2011. The next scheduled retreat will be with Rodney Smith in Spring 2012. Subscribe to our retreat announcement list to be notified of retreats sponsored by the sangha.
A sangha picnic is held once a year. Subscribe to our mailing list to be notified for next year’s picnic.
